Common question
How much does it cost to register a boat in Nevada?
NDOW lists annual registration fees from $20 for boats under 13 feet to $100 for boats 31 feet and over, based on length. An initial certificate of ownership (title) is $20, a processing fee applies, and motorized boats also need the annual Aquatic Invasive Species decal ($13 for motorized watercraft).
Check the current schedule
NDOW’s published annual registration fees range from $20 for boats shorter than 13 feet to $100 for boats 31 feet or longer. Title-related fees and processing charges are separate. Check your length category and transaction directly on the official page.
Build a complete ownership budget
Request actual quotes for insurance, storage, servicing, trailer needs and any transport. Allow for fuel and consumables based on your anticipated use. Do not treat a monthly loan estimate as the full cost of ownership.
Compare scenarios
Use the Payment Studio with your own price, down payment, APR and term. It estimates principal and interest; confirm offered terms with the financing provider. Add your separately quoted operating costs to evaluate the overall commitment.
